Green Revival is positioned to solve the invasive plant crisis and serve biomass buyers.
This supply is growing uncontrollably.
This supply is getting riskier due to geopolitics, natural disasters and gas prices.
Green Revival's birth is on the Jewish holiday for the trees (Tu B'Shevat) and aims to create a renewed connection between humanity and plants. In the Winter, Tu B'Shevat marks the time when tree sap starts to flow upwards, symbolizing regeneration of life in a time when you see loss of plant life.
In the Summer of college freshman year, Sydney Rodman, founder and CEO, worked a conservation job removing invasive plants from Lake George in Upstate New York. After witnessing firsthand the sheer amount of plant waste and the inefficient practices post-harvest, she wanted a solution to increase efficiency in the circular economy. With a bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Rice University, Sydney understands taxonomy and phylogeny, enabling her to streamline the identification of candidate species and coordinate logistics for proprietary manufacturing.
With widespread abundance of invasive plants, long-term management is the most effective way to prevent disaster from the uncontrolled spread. Long term utilization plans are the best way to holistically adapt.
